But I have to agree with Halo 3's rating. As much as I bash it, I know it is a good game. But to make it a top ten game? That would be a total shocker. WOW. no its a complete shocker its not top 5...total bull shit |

Mass Effect, Fight Night Round 3, Tales of Vesperia, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: WaW, Oblivion, Bioshock, Rock Band, Guitar Hero 3/WT, Gears 1, maybe Forza 2, the more I think about it, the more I believe that game should be 11, Left 4 Dead, and maybe GTA4, although I have not played it.
I am aware that Guitar Hero cannot be on this list again, but remember, I never played GH2.

But guys for reals, would we expect any different response from Roggie? He always says this stuff to be a contrarian. He is so obvious when it comes to this stuff that you just have to laugh him off because its so typical. gears of war 2 is about right, personally, i probably would have backed it up to 9 or 10. don't really have a problem with the others, they seem about right.

And I hated Gears 1 MULTIPLAYER. The single player was absolutely amazing. I will admit I put more time into Halo 3 than the other games. But that was because everyone on my friend list was playing it and I enjoyed playing games with other people then. But now, I can't play more than 4 games before I'm bored out of my mind. I'm only on it now to get the skulls on the Mythic maps. But ROFL at Crackdown. Fun, but are you kidding me? And Jeremy, I don't pick the other side just so I can. I actually only argue what I feel is right. And I don't see Halo 3 being a top 5 game. It's popular only because of Halo 1 and 2. That's it. Wait. I'm thinking GTA4 may not be listed at all. Look at these unlisted games: GTA4, Assassin's Creed, CoD 4, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Fallout 3. I'm hoping Fallout 3 or Assassin's Creed is left out. Actually, I hope BOTH are and Tales of Vesperia is on the list. |

if gears of war 2 made it, gears of war 1 will, considering it was the better game

Only one game from a series can make the list, so I didn't. But I agree, Gears 1 should be top 5, since after I sold it they fixed the multiplayer.

Yeah, gamespy didn't exactly score points with me with this list. Clowns, lol, crackdown. Goodness. Especially funny since they voted it the 10th best game of 2007. Somehow it jumped 4 spots in the last year.
And since gears 2 made the list and they said only 1 game per franchise...I think that is a huge injustice to gears 1.
My guess is they will vote Bioshock or CoD4 as #1.
I love lists like this. Mostly because its fun to disagree, or makes you feel good if they pick the "right game". Either way it makes for good conversation.
