As determined by Gamespy:Since its launch in late 2005, the Xbox 360 has dominated the living rooms of millions of hardcore gamers worldwide. Thanks to strides in online integration, downloadable content, and high definition visuals, the Xbox 360 has allowed us all to sink hundreds of hours into some great gaming experiences. The 360 hasn't hit its peak by any means, but we want to recognize 25 of the best games to hit the platform to date.
Note that "best" doesn't mean "categorized by numerical score." By "best" we mean the games that we've personally sacrificed countless hours of sleep and numerous Saturday nights to, regardless of the scores some staffer or other might have assigned in their reviews. And in the case of certain franchises, we've picked the title that we believe to be the best in the series. In any case, our Gamerscores are much larger thanks to these great games. So without further ado, here are our picks for the Top 25 Xbox 360 Games of All Time (So Far)!Day One: Top Games #25-21Sword fightin', car wreckin', alien killin', ball-kickin'... I haven't played any of the day 1 games...but then again, I don't really play very many different games. I have the games that I like and I tend to stick to those. I don't have the time to invest in a bunch of different games.

Prelim predictions for #1...Halo 3? Gears? GTA IV? Guitar Hero? CoD 4? Bioshock? Rock Band? Mass Effect?
I would bet against Halo 3, but I can't really say who they would choose for #1.

My number one may be Mass Effect. But I will be SHOCKED if Tales of Vesperia isn't in the top 15, even top 10.
But for day one games, I've played Burnout Paradise and Forza 2. Both very worthy. Forza should be higher, Burnout a little lower. (higher = good.)

Earth Defense Force 2017 is supposed to be really fun. I heard that from Metalix. I think NFS Most Wanted should be up there. I spent a lot of time on that game and it was very enjoyable.

I think Oblivion, Halo 3, FEAR, Shadowrun, and Left 4 Dead are my top 5 in that order.
I spent so much time in Oblivion; I had so many characters over level 20 that I didn't know what to do different. Also, the fact that there was a good amount to do is always a plus.
Halo 3 is just an all around good game (obviously). It's too versatile to take out of the list.
FEAR had an amazing campaign and multiplayer (heh and weapons). The campaign was dark and you didn't know what was gonna come next and sometimes it was even tricky. The multiplayer is fast paced and all around good. You really needed to be good at a lot of things to be good at the multiplayer and a lot of weapons to learn. The most awesome weapon was definitely the funniest weapon ever (nope I lied... the rock-it-launcher is better). And I also realized that like if a vase fell and was rattling on the floor it would make a certain rhythm (same with almost everything like how the pistols shot).
Shadowrun was a very fun experience. The only problem with this game is that there wasn't very much back-story or anything. But the game was fun and the enemies you faced were very varied, like from a dwarf firing a minigun at you from on high or a troll charging you with a katana at high speeds. Then you can find a demon running you down or someone disappearing all of a sudden. The only problem is that you only have one life, delaying you from all the fun. There's nothing like walking along and going, "Loo loo loo... I think I'm gonna go cap some midgits....What was that? OH SHIT A TROLL!".
Left 4 Dead... It's an excellent multiplayer game. It presents many funny situations as well as some frustrating ones. The fact that you need to fight your way through all the level also makes it a little more challenging. Although, it's quite hard to go at it on your own since the computers are retarded...
Heh, I thought I might as well throw that in for fun.

Great! I love the contribution. Unfortunately the only game I have played of your 5 is Halo 3.

Shadowrun was such an overlooked game, it's ridicules! I would set it pretty damn close with Halo 3.

Day 2 added to first post.
I can finally break into the list with number 17: Street Fighter IV, at that remains the only game on the list I have played. And I am rather surprised to see it there, considering the game has only been out for a few weeks.
