So I've been playing this game (on PS2.) and it owns. Not only are all of the songs AWESOME except maybe 2 or 3 of them, but the charts are much more difficult than GH2 and even more difficult than my custom GH2 hack. I don't think I will ever get 5 stars on Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and the Flames" on Expert. Otherwise, I finished the campaign with 5 stars on everything on Expert and I am really enjoying this game.
I am sure even Roggie is a believer in how much fun it is. Anyone else care to discuss?

Joe, I bought GH3.
TTFAF = hard as shit. I can barely finish it on Medium (then again, I've only been playing it for a week and a half, so give me a break.)
Halo theme is hard too.

I've beaten TTFATF on Expert and can do so consistently, I just can't get a good multiplier going. I'm glad you swore off your ol hatred for GH though. Jeremy is next.

Meh, it was one of my unbiased hatreds. I played the demo, and loved it. Bought the game, love it. Just not skilled at it.
I've got a friend at school who got 98% on TTFAF Expert. I was sitting there, just like WTF.

im trying to get the game but none of the stores around here have GH3 with the guitar. So i have to wait a few weeks. It looks like so much fun and the music is good.

I have it and it is a pretty sweet game....We played it for like a few weeks and then convinced parents to get ROCKBAND, its the game with all the rock instruments like Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Mic. The Guitar and Bass both work like Guitar hero and the drums are pretty similar too, except you hit 4 pads and a foot peddle instead of 5 buttons. And the Mic is like Kareoke Revolution ( If any of you ever saw that ) all in all its awesome.

I hear the songs are easy for guitar though. I'm not necessarily interested in that. Drums would be nice IMO, but that's really the only reason I would shell put $170 for Rock Band

i have GH2 now. Its been like 5 days and im on hard. Im trying to do expert but thats going to take a while lol. Its so fun!

I played the GH3 demo and it seemed way easier than GH2.
Although GH2 with Hyper speed is pretty own.
Can you do hyper speed in GH3?
