Well, my famed look-alike friend Gordon Freeman has stepped into the XBOX arena. Toning down graphics significantly to interest you consol junkies, Valve has released Half Life 2 for XBOX. Note of observation coming from one who has played it both on XBOX and PC, if you only play it on XBOX, you're missing out a ton. Then again, if your PC isn't up to snuff you'll miss out a little as well. Read ING's review here: xbox.ign.com/articles/666/666049p1.htmlSome screenies for you to enjoy: It hurts me to see the loss of quality for the XBOX port of the game, but its worth it and still fun to play. Go buy it. cheers.

I think the graphics are pretty good. I'm comparing it to the PC version, of which the graphics are unrivaled.

Its odd you say that. My PC has a prescott chip... as some of u pc junkies know, prescotts tend to run a little hot... Until I upgrade my heatsink, high-end pc games (Like Brothers In Arms) will overheat my Core. Then, I found Half-Life 2... Even at High performance settings, Half-Life 2 runs great! I even played all the way through on my stock heat-sink. I didn't overheat once, and the graphics were AMAZING! (Think Call of Duty 2) I HIGHLY recommend Half-Life 2. Its story is WAY better than Halo 2's. Of course, I prefer Halo's multiplayer WAYYY better. Halflife Deathmatch isnt that great. Zero- Point Energy w007!11!!1!!

I run Doom 3, Half Life 2, Brothers in Arms, Soft Image XSI, Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2...
None of my RAM processor, or video cards over heat, and it runs completely smoothe on max settings.

How is the future? How did u manage a time machine? Unless u meant Half-Life 2. Because I did that too.

You can run doom 3 at max settings with 2 gb ram, radeon 850 xt, p4. Although my new computer will have Athlon 64 processor, 7800GT, and at least 2 gb ram to put your machine to shame sir nate.

I have 2 GB RAM though, and I've got two emptry RAM slots that are just screaming out to me to be used... No, I was talking about Doom 3. I run all my games at max settings with no loss of FPS.

2 G.B of ram. wow that is awesome.
Bill Gates was completely wrong when he said this,"640K ought to be enough for anybody."
But to be honest i don't know what K is. Don't pown, 640K seems like a low number though
