So Reach came out yesterday, and I'm wondering what everyone who has played it thinks of the game. I personally saw the campaign as the most difficult of all the Halo games. I have yet to dive in to the multiplayer, but I did take a look at forge and Forge World. I'm ready to get some good games in, so hit me up y'all.
I give Reach two thumbs up, a good final Halo installment from Bungie.

i played some campaign and matchmaking. The campaign is pretty fun and the story is pretty interesting. Matchmaking is a fricken blast though. One of the levels is a remake of ivory tower.. probably my favorite so far
After a couple hours each to the last two days, I am giving it 2 thumbs up as well. I have only played two campaign missions and they have been co-op so the lag is awful, I need to go solo and fully immerse myself in the campaign. Matchmaking has been fun, I thing they have made big games more fun then they have been before. Being able to chose your spawn as well as spawning with at least a pistol is so much better than halo 2 and 3.
And for a full analysis of the game, it takes months of playing the game to get a proper opinion of the game play. I still would have preferred a 4 shot DMR kill, but after a that kind of stuff just fades away because you get so used to the way it is.
I guess my only complaint is the lack of small to medium sized multiplayer maps. I know Bungie's feels like they gave us a lot of options with Forge world (which they did), but I would have thought 2-3 more maps on launch day might have been appropriate. I am sure there will be DLC so we will see at least 4 or 5 more original maps I am sure.
Anyways, I am have fun playing Halo Reach. Now if I could only stay home from work all day to play...
