9.10 is giving my computer fits. I cannot get it to boot. 9.04 works like a champ. Even an in-place upgrade breaks the install. I may have to abandone 64 bit to see if that's the issue

These are my only complaints
The built in mic isn't being detected, im sure i can fix it
the flash player is a bit finiky, it will randomly stop working, im not sure why.
and i cant get my music writting software to work on it, so im going to install xp or vista on a msall part of my drive just to run the software
and, the msn version for linux sucks, but it works

use virtualbox for your windows install for the program. that way you won't need to partition your hard drive just to run one program.

I went out and bought a super cheap notebook laptop, its so tiny , to use the few windows programs i need .
300 bucks was totally worth this
