Could anyone recommend a good surge saver? My 360 tanked last night which strangely corresponded with my TV Flashing to a solid white screen and turning itself off. I have both on the same power strip (which is supposed to have surge protection) and I think the timing is too odd to just be a coincidence. I have heard that some of the surge savers are better than others, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on something I don't need.

The 360 doesn't need a surge protector. It has one built in to the power block. Tech support informed me of that when I was having problems with my box. You could actually cause damage to the power supply if you use a surge protector.
As for anything else, make sure it's rated to protect what you're plugging into it. I would get one that's rated for electronics. It doesn't need to have the phone line and cable surge protection on it. It need to be able to handle enough voltage. Also, if you have a lot of problem with power a battery back/surge protector and/or a power conditioner might be the way to go.

Well I think I found a good one. I went to Lowe's and found one specifically for home theatres and game consoles that is rated up to 2250 joules. It does not have a power conditioner though. I hope this works.

The power conditioner is a separate peice and most likely wouldn't be found at lowes. Remember don't plug the xbox into the surge protector. The power brick has it's own surge protection built it.
