I recorded a TV show using my DVD recorder. I recorded it onto a DVD-RW disc. I tried playing the DVD on my other DVD player and my portable DVD player, but an error comes up saying that it can not read it. Can someone help?
My old DVD recorder had an option where it formats the DVD disc and locks it so that it can be played on other DVD players. I am not sure if you have to do this with the DVD recorder or if I can do it on my computer.

You have to do that with the DVD recorder, or else you can only view that DVD on that specific DVD Recorder.

Yea, I was afraid of that. Now I have to find the manual.

Ugh, when you have to find the manual it's a dire state!

Yea what I am going to do is record all the Dora the Explorer episodes I can fit on the RW and then put it in the -R from my computer.
