I recently...uh...came across these discs and I must say...
<3333333 the orchestra / Metallica mix.
Wherever I May Roam, One, Enter Sandman, and Master of Puppets are by far my top 4 off of those two CDs.
I recommend everyone get these somehow.
I had to share this.

Is Ride the lightning one of their songs? I think it is I like that one. Master of Puppets is probably the best though

You're almost a decade behind on this album... Steve Vai's Sound Theories is another awesome Orchestrated rock album. Also, Yngwie Malmsteen's Concerto dvd is really cool. Meesam, if you liked Ride the Lightning then you'll probably like alot of other thrash metal. Megadeth > Metallica imo, simply because Marty Friedman simply shreds. |

Is it sad that I remember when I first purchased this so many years ago... No, I remember when I got it too. Oh, and Battery, Call of Ktulu, and No Leaf Clover are my favorites on that CD. Call of Ktulu is right next to Orion when it comes to amazing instrumentals. Metallica's old albums pwned hard. |

I actually am not a fan of the S&M discs. I've heard quit a few songs and I wasn't impressed. Love Metallica. Born and raised listening to them. I just don't care for the orchestra.
