Indeed. And I understand, all businesses want more money, obviously. But I will not let myself become one of their money cows.
Let me know if the maps are any good though, I look forward to playing them in the spring.

I mean, if ANYONE who bought the Legendary edition complains about 10 dollar maps, they should be shot.
And I don't want to get on anyone's bad side by saying this, so don't take it out of context.
It's only 10 bucks. I don't see how that is that hard to spare.

Well i haven't even touched halo 3 since i bought COD, so i really doubt i'll waste money on those maps.

Roggie, where do you get off that the money is the problem here?
It's the principle of it. And the 3 maps aren't that big of a deal anyways.
I'm sure that anyone who could afford a 360 and a copy of Halo 3/Xbox Live could buy the maps if they wanted to.

As with most things, its a matter of opinion. Waste of money? It depends of course. I have $10 burning a hole in my wallet right now so for someone in my position its no waste, especially since Halo 3 is pretty much the only xbox 360 game I play. A waste of money for me, for example, would be spending $60 on CoD4 because although I hear its fun, I am never going to take the time to get into it and enjoy it. If the same applies to you and the new Halo 3 maps, then yes, it would be a waste.
So to summarize, I will be buying the Halo 3 maps. Why? Because I like Halo 3, its one of 2 video games I play regularly right now, and $10 is not a big issue to me. Furthermore, I do not object to the principal of the "thing". To take umbrage with this situation would be hypocritical for me (and if I may postulate, hypocritical for most people) because a. we all paid way more for our video game setup that would seam reasonable to begin with, b. we knew that DLC at a small price tag would be part of Halo 3 (to say otherwise would be ignorant and foolish) and c. we all "waste" money on more frivolous things in our life anyway (and although this may be true, its not a very good argument, which begs the question as to why I put in here in the first place).

You'd think they would make the forge level bigger that way you can really make whatever you want and not be limited to a small space.
