i was looking through images on IGN and i saw a knife on the front of the spartan in 2 pictures on the cest. think we will be able to use it?.....picture 121 and one before that...i don't know which one. i copied the pages url but it just sent me to the first picture when i tried it...just look through the pics and in some you can spot the knife on the cest of the spartan. another one pic (127)

I dont really have anything to say about this, but i will save anyone curious the trouble of going and trying to find the pictures hes talking about.   I would assume you're talking about the thing a little above his mid-section off to the right? |

it would be cool if you would like whip it out for an assinations. haha but what's that other thing though... yeah it could be for show the knife and whatever that other thing is. i just want to know what it is.

Anyway, having a knife would be cool for awesome executions. Like sneak up behind an Elite, then cut to awesome animation of you doing some crazy maneuver with the knife, killing the elite, then move on.

It's a knife. If you click on the first link Bobby posted and zoom in you can see it's definitely a knife. Whether or not you'd be able to use it is another question. Bungie did say that not all the weapons were in the beta but a good majority were. Maybe this is one they held back.

i really dont think its a knife...knifes arnt halo at all and i dont know why bungie would try to add it if it was...
also if it is it is really small
