In the end, I personally did not like the list. The worst of it came when I saw goldeneye near 70's. I believe that game really gave consoles the boost they were looking for when it came to first person shooters. The computer dominated FPS's up to that point with wolf 3d and duke nukem.
With that said I don't think counterstrike should be that high on the list (or at least not better than the classics). Although I do understand it did give the people what they wanted, and that was an awesome mult-iplayer. So judging by that I think it should be where it is but still not better than wolf 3d.

Wait what is the difference between Half Life and counterstrike. One of my nerd colleagues told me that half life was a mod of counterstrike.

I never got to play starcraft that much, so i don't know what to say about it... Haven't played counterstrike either...I was happy with deus ex though, but still they were doing all-time games and diablo 2 should have been in top 10...
