I need to start posting again, so I will start with this. pc.ign.com/articles/774/774907p1.htmlJust some list that a donkey put together. I only played three of those game: Battletoads, MegaMan, and Contra. Battletoads is defenitly a yes, I have never beaten it without game genie. Megaman meh, I guess the Dr. Wiley stages are really hard. Contra is also a meh to me because I can sit down tonight on my computer and beat it within a half hour. BUT, that is with the cheat code so maybe they have a point. I will see how far I can get without it. |

F-Zero GX is a definite for me. I never even got through half of it, and I LOVE F-Zero.

Yea, F-Zero was really hard, In fact I sold it not too long ago. I never beat it, although I did watch my brother get very far in it. Im not sure if he beat it.

I don't buy Mega Man for a minute. Contra was tough without the code but I don't think it should be #1.

F-Zero GX is a definite for me. I never even got through half of it, and I LOVE F-Zero. Beat it on expert and Master, got the AX cup and all of the AX racers. Rainbow Phoenix is a god. otherwise, I bever played Shinobi or R-type, and I never fiished battletoads or Super Ghouls and Ghosts. Otherwise, I beat the rest of them, even MDK2, which i still own on my dreamcast. |

Ninja Gaiden Black is supposed to be extremely hard.
@ Joe: Not bad. I could never do the AX stuff because there weren't any machines around me. That game was supposed to be easier with those guys. But, it's still probably hard as hell. It was really hard goign through the GPs with a created machine that sucked balls.
IMO, Black Shadow is a BEAST. (At least he was on F-Zero X.)

Ummm... there's no AX machine here either. Go to Story Mode, and beat ANY mission on expert. Now go to the shop and buy your new AX ship. That easy. The easiest mission on Expert IMO, is the one where you race Samurai Goroh. Or maybe challenge of the Bloody chain, perhaps that race against time mission, where the bomb is on your ship. To be perfectly honest, i dont think i ever played half of those games let alone beat them. mega-man (i dont know which one they are talking about if its the first one, i prolly never beat it) I could have beaten contra, but I dont remember it. super ghouls and ghosts I got half way through and said "fuck this shit" lol

I never played G&G. I think I did on the PSP and that was pretty hard, but never did I play it when it was not a remake. I could beat it though. Im sure. I never played Battletoads or R-Type either... I've still got access to any NES and an SNES... I may look into that just so people say "See that guy? He is the man."
I guess I can borrow shinobi... or pick it up for $10.
