All I can say is "What an IDIOT I have been!!!"When I got my PS2, I decided that I would see just what was so amazing about the MGS series, so I rented Sons of Liberty (MGS 2). I was immediately turned off towards the series. Though... I DID play the game for 15 hours straight... I beat it in one sitting... go figgure.
Anyway, I was completely anti- MGS for a LOOOOONG time. My neighbor got MGS3 and all I would do is insult it and other stuff, even after I played it for about an hour. Recently I borrowed it from him and popped it in at home. The game is AMAZING. The story is soooooo interesting and there are so many plot twists its crazy. Also, there are some really funny conversations and situations in the game.
The game is set in 1962. A group of terrorists are trying to spark a war between the US and Russia. If this war is started, Nuclear meltdown will occur because both the US and the USSR possess ICBMs. Snake is sent in to defeat the terrorist group and all the stuff.
The real highlight of this game is wilderness survival. You need to kill and eat your food in order to stay alive. You also need to perform field surgery on yourself if you are shot, bit, or burned.
Please, go try it.
