I know defcon brought this up a while back, but since these are specific to the 360 I'll start a new thread. Battlefield 2142 screenshotsI was at EB games yesterday...almost bought a copy BF 2 for xbox 360. I will rent it next week and see if it is any good. From what I have been reading it nothing to get uber excited about. And for $60, I had better like what I am buying. |

Honestly i liked the old school style WWII/Vietnam/etc.. type of battlefield, too many future fps now-a-days

i played the demo for the 360.....it rapes. I could tell you to buy it. I would without playing the campaign. the multiplayer is kool

Honestly i liked the old school style WWII/Vietnam/etc.. type of battlefield, too many future fps now-a-days are you kidding? i am so sick of the ww2/vietnam games.....there are so bloody many of them..and they keep comming out...at least with the future kinda games there is variety and inovation in the weapons and enviroments (prey looks sweet..if they can incorporate the wall and roof walking into multiplayer..i dont think u will ever see me anywhere else) i have a shit load more to say ..but i was supposed to be at work like 10 min ago |

I may agree with Rory for the first time ever. There are far far far too many WWII games out there. Each claiming to be better than the rest. I would know, I'm currently employed by one of them...
While that's one my favourite types of games, futuristic ones are hard to come by. Good ones at least.

futuristic games are better anyways ..because people wont critisise that the gun in teh game doesn't behave like its realworld counterpart...and they wont get as nitty picky with all the stuff not beaing real enough
i think i can honestly say that the only moderen era game i like is.... 1.far cry (because its set in present day...but theres still that sci fi feel) 2. battlefield 2...
and i actually havn't played a ww2 game i actually enjoyed.....im sure theres 1 game..but i cant think of what it is yet
