I dont know if you guys know how to do photo restoration but i need a little help with it. I think Defcon may know a few things, but maybe all the other sig makers know some techniques as welll. If you are really good i will send you the picture that i am trying to restore and just let me know if its doable, and let me know how i should do it. Thanx

Well, i have this photo that is un exposed on one side and exposed too much on teh other side. I have used the burn tool and dodge tool to get rid of it but it does not seem to be working, if u want to see the photo i can e mail it to you on monday or tuesday.

i spent a few days working in a photo lab before i got fired and when theres big white sptos like that ....i was under the understanding taht u cant fix it

Defcon, you can crop out things that u dont need, i dont really care, as long as you can get the bulk of the picture. I also did manage to lighten the dark areas in the back using the dodge tool, but the very light area i have trouble fixing.

I also did manage to lighten the dark areas in the back using the dodge tool, but the very light area i have trouble fixing. ur having trouble fixing the very light areas because thers nothing to fix.......unless u can teach ur compuer to fill in the blanks theres nothing there to fix...only the color white think of it like this ur trying to get ur computer to put in part of a picture that was never actually tehre
