AoR Scrimmage #2 MVP VotingTime to vote on who you think should be TDC's MVP of the AoR Scrimmage #2. What criteria should you base your vote on? Not just kills and deaths, but what did that person do to help with the game. Did the get a clutch kill to save a flag? Medals are a good indication of over and above achievements. If someone lacked in kills, they may have made up for in in flag caps or ball time. Also consider how many games they played in. Below is a link to a summary of stats from all players. PI's were also calculated. Remember that the PI formula isn't perfect. Scrimmage results/write upStats spreadsheet

It is difficult. Metalix has the good PI, but from where I stand I think Tequila did a great job as well. It will be difficult but I think I know who to choose.

Metalix's PI is slightly higher because they had similar kills (although Tequila did have more) but Metalix had much more objective accomplishments (hill time, ball time, etc) and medals. However, each person had their rolls in the game. Its definitely a tough choice between them two.

So if we eat rolls before we play, we will play better?
So much for Gatorade.

PI stands for performance index. It is a mathematical formula that I developed during Halo 2 to rate a players performance during the game. All stats are used and given different factors depending on their importance. So if you get lots of kills but don't accomplish any objectives (ball time, flag scores, etc), your PI will not be as high as if you did both. The way i have it set up, PI's really start to even out when you average them over several games.
The formula certainly isn't perfect, but it is a rather usefull tool for rating one's performance over several games.
