^ i think i love him too. he brings up a good point scrimming people isnt an MLG tourny. Besides, it makes for some good practice with the other weapons. just cause you have a br in mlg all the time doesnt mean its gonna neccesarly be the right weapon for every situation  |

But BR is more balanced than any other weapon.
Can be used up close, far, mid-range, anything.
Plus it actually requires operator skill.

brandon, you're right. but you guys are gonna always play guys that dont always do mlg. but i wont say anything more. tdc is the enemy until after the 9th |

While you're correct it should be voted on my the potential participants I know for a fact that not 1 game without BR starts would happen due to the number of people that would vote against default or SMG starts. That is why I keep stating that not all games need to be BR starts or MLG rules. Open up your mind and believe that being well rounded in all weapons in benificial.
Look at it like this, say TDC pick all BR start games but TR picks default or SMG start. Now you're left with only 1 maybe 2 BR's on the map which will be fought over but there are plenty of other weapons to use. If you cannot use the SMG, plasma rifle or any other weapon as effectively in a game then you are at a disadvantage. Not everyone will get a BR in these situations and you'll need to be able to grab something and be useful.

i'm with Rick on this one. we don't always have to play MLG rules. just because the BR is the most balanced gun doesn't mean you should force everyone to play a friendly scrimmage with just that gun. if someone wants a TS SMG start on lockout, do it, who cares, have fun. whore the sniper sword. just roll with it. it's just a game, remember before everyone was all over the BRs nuts? when halo2 first came out? i say we play one game with SMG starts. it's a scrimmage afterall, not a tournament for money or ultimate halo world status.

I'm not forcing anyone.
Majority rules is how things roll.
No offense to Goddess, but because only really one person wants SMG starts, we shouldn't bend our backs for that.
They can either suck it up or not play.
Edit: I will get in trouble for this, I know it.
Also, as someone great once said:
"If there is a game with SMG starts, it will just give me another excuse in game."

I agrre with brandon though, oamongst you guys your picks if mlg is majority, then it should flow mlg. however majority doesnt count when tr picks its games.. like you guys dont have anything to say about it.

I realize that TR will pick their own gametypes.
I don't know whether they will be SMG or not...we will see.
I am talking about just our TDC gametypes though.

yea but they probaly will so goddess u got your smg game from them...
and br start is good because if all u have is a smg and only 1 person has a br how are u going to kill him inless he sucks?
so if everyone has a br then its equal...
and i dont know about u guys but i can use any wepon...br is just the fastest way to kill someone
