Roggie what does it matter if you use your thumb or not if your good without it. I'm saying if it aint broke why fix it? and same with the ball weight isnt it all just preference? Less accurate on spare shots without the thumb. Plus, it's broken if you're not averaging at least 200 on a house shot. People don't believe they can do better with a change. Just takes practice. I loved throwing 170's without using my thumb. Now I'm up to 190 and am still working out the kinks. Higher ball weight = more force when it hits the pins which = more pin action. |

That should be a shot you're good at picking up. You could always no thumb the strike ball and thumb the spare.

Peter, nobody believes you. You do not average a 273. I thought maybe you would have grown out of the urge to try to impress us with BS while you been gone. At least you and Roggie have each other to BS all day long. really jermemy you think im talking crap there, i could careless if anyone beleive me. to the point where hey the school i went to in indiana has one of the only Bowling Center Management degrees in the us. Yah, i havent bowled in about a year but i bowled every day for 2.5 years u think id be atleast good in something i did for almost 2 hrs everyday. back on subject yah my avg isnt 273 anymore but hey 2 years ago it was. |

Peter, my dad flat out laughed when he read your bullshit post. You can't just go and add 50 or 60 pins to your average to make yourself look good. Heck, if I did that it would still be a BS score, and my average isn't even good.

Plus, there's no bullshit from me anywhere in this thread. If I was bullshitting, I'd be saying I threw a 260 with a ball I could barley handle, not 182 or 183 or whatever the hell I bowled, and I've give myself a 240 average, not my 190ish one.
