dude me and mental have been fishing it up, I caught my first bass this weekend followed the next morn by another. He cuahgt one bigger than mine and hooked one that was a fatty but lost it.
Twas very fun,
oh yea bubba fished with us and he caught some brim a cat and a bass, f'n redneck!

Cat fish, what a donkey.
I used to go fishing all the time, mainly half day boats and such seeing as how I live right on the coast. We'd catch all sorts of shit: yellow tail, baracuda, sculpin, mackeral (throw that shit back). I even a pelecan once, we had to drag it on the boat to get the hook out, the was freakin out. When I go backpacking its all trout fishing, usually rainbow or brown. If you go the the right spots in the Sierras (mtns in CA) you can catch Golden trout, they don't get big but they are awesome eats, or so I hear. I love to catch fish but will not eat it.

i just got a new fishing pole, a new orion reel with a titanium bell, and a shimano rod, its bad ass.

I actually hooked a sea lion one time as well. But it finally broke the line. Sea lions are always following fishing boats.

mine is almost as wierd, I was just randomly throwing out my line with no bait, and hooked a devil ray perfectly.
