Ok let me explain the problem me and my friend Nicole have been really good friends for about 2 years now. My best friend Matt has been going out with her for a year. I have a girlfriend taht ive been going out for about 3 months (i know it doesnt seem long but we took a year to get to know each other before going out so we can have a strong relationship) ok now taht oyu have the background here is the situation:
Nicole wants to go to the gym tonight but her parents wont let her go alone and Matt is busy at work till 10 so he cant go with her> so she asks me to go with her. i ask terra to see if its fine you know cuz girls get mad over these things she says its fine (this is over AIM) later i see her in person and stars bitching at me saying that how can i go with soem other girl alone to a gym. we argue........a little more arguing....then she gets mad and tells me to leave....i leave....she is mad at me for something she said wouldnt bother her. I get mad at her for making it a big deal.
so who do you think had the right reasons to get mad?

You have to understand that even though she said it was o.k. she was hoping in the back of her mind that you wouldn't go. What you should have done instead was ask her to go with the other girl or all three go together. What just happened to you was sort of a test. She may know that nothing willhappen between you and the other girl but by you going she may have validated a concern of hers regarding other girls that may ask you to "just hang out."
Even though you took the extra time to get to know each other better before dating you still really only know her as the friend role. The whole situation changes when you switch gears from being just friends that kinda like each other to full on dating. She'll want to see you more and you may feel smothered by it so you may back off or get angry because you feel like you have to tell her what you're doing all the time. It'll get better. Then there's your feelings about wanting to spend time with her but also spend time with you buddies. There's a fine line that you walk when choosing who to spend time with.
My best advice is try to avoid going anywhere with another girl, even if your girlfriend says it's o.k., unless she's going to be with you, it's an emergency situation, or it's a whole group of people.

Wow thanks alot Rick! when i grow up i wanna be just as wise as you  -=EDIT=- another thing i should add is that Terra (my gf) is sick so there is no way that she would be able to go with us because if not id most likely ask her to go with us |

Well we sorted thing out today after school so thanks guys for helping me out. although the most akward thing happened today lol her mom gave us a sex talk today it was soooooooooooooooooo akward i mean i cant even explain this weirdness

same thing happend to me. Expect my girlfriends mom was a college biology teacher. She had no problem with talking about stuff like that and talked about her and her husband. I wanted to cry.
