[Don't respond with "i don't care" cause you didn't have to fucking read it anyhow]
So I finally have some closure, finally realizing (with J-rizzle's help) that I am not good enough to be in the clan. It's probably a good thing, because now I can wholeheartedly persue drums as an alternate hobby without worry about improving my "halo skills."
But you guys are cool (except Rory--jk) so I'm still a forum whore. ;D

I'm sure you'd make it if you really wanted in that bad. You've been hanging around for months and have not ever tried once to have a tryout. You've given up on something before ever really trying to acheive it. To try and fail is far better than not trying at all. Do just take one persons opinion because if that were true half the people that have made it in would not have because Joe pretty much votes no all the time.
I'm not say that your decision is bad. You should have outside interests but I know that if it were me I always be wondering if I really was good enough in the back of my mind. Just think it over before your final decision.

actually, i've wanted it "that bad" for quite some time. it's just that i've never felt ready to try out. also i think my "halo skill" has hit a leveling off point.
but, i love your advice rick. i appreciate it more than you'd think. i think i'll actually give it a shot, even though i know there are some people that would not like to see me make it anyway. we'll see. i mean, sometimes when i play, i can play really well (well enough to be "clan member" worthy), but it's like whenever i NEED to play that well i can't do shit, then get pissed and leave.
thanks rick. i always take your advice to heart.

Going on what Rick said they have never seen you "tryout' so how can they know your true skill level. I need for you to make the clan so im not the only supporter of Bush in here.

you will need some bush support because all the founding members of this clan (myself included) think bush is a dumb sh**

well, i could talk for days on end about politics. but i will say this, and we all should agree:
politicians suck, because politics in itself is a dirty, corrupt "profession."
As for Bush, I don't agree with him on a lot of levels. I'm not a bandwagoner, thinking "oh he's republican so he's da bomb." I could pick dozens of people I'd rather see president than him. But he is our president and sometimes does things favorable to my point of view. Hence my "support", not to be confused with "worship" which seems to be the implication made when somebody says that another "supports" someone.
Louis Black: "Republicans have shitty ideas, and the Democrats make them shittier!!!!!"

Don't be too intimidated by me. I don't think less of anyone just because of their political affiliation. You have nothing to be sorry about. But at least now you know my stance on ye old president.
