you will have to watch them on a computer that has windows. WMV is the format that makes the most sense ROry.
I used WIndows movie maker for the first couple. It will do the trick for simple stuff. But for More Cowbell I used Sony Vegas Video.

I use Pinnacle and it has the avi option but to render an avi makes the file huge. I'm talking like 150MB just for a 3 or 4 minute video.
