So Zangief has alluded to this coming soon so I figured I'd give my take on how it'll go down and what I believe the intent of it is. I've seen a couple questions in the regiments thread about it so lets just get it out there for ideas.
Purpose:
MLG Mondays is going to be a weekly event that will allow us to get together as a clan. The intent of this is to give everyone a day that they can count on people getting online to play Halo 3 with the MLG rules that made us so competitive in Halo 2.
What to play:
The number of clan members on each MLG Monday will decide what will happen. If there's 4 or less people on then it would only make sense to go into matchmaking and pwn some nubs however, if there's enough folks on live then customs should be the way to go.
Regiments:
If there's enough folks on weekly for the MLG Mondays and other clan events then regiments will most likely be around the corner. They were fun during Halo 2 and encouraged people to get better so their regiment didn't lose. It may be awhile for the resurgance of the regiments and Zangief is really busy and I'm getting ready to start classes again. But rest assured activity will be watched and if it warrants the return of regiments, they'll be back.
In the end, everyone realizes that we're all getting older and have more imortant things to do in life than just play video games. Hopefully, MLG Mondays and other clan events to come will get more activity in the games we all love to play and here in the forums.
