Iv'e caught a couple of annoying spyware programs and i'm thinking of wiping the main hard drive of my computer... but i don't know if i'll have to go and wipe the other hard drive too. Will i have to do that? My main hard drive is 40gb and holds windows for me and stuff like that. My other hard drive holds games. (making the point that they are seperate hdds and not seperate partitions)

Have you used spyware removal programs first? Reinstalling windows deletes everything on that hard drive so be very sure that you want to do that first, so you will want to back everything up. Although this is not a bad idea if you are know what you are doing. The stuff on your second hard drive won't be effected, if you go through with it its not a bad idea to disconnect the 2nd hard drive during the process.

^True...however, any games that you installed to the second hdd will need to be re-installed after you are done setting up widows becasue all the necessary files in the system 32 and other directories will be wiped out with the re-install of windows.

hmmm... i could try to run spy removal, but i don't trust a lot of stuff on the internet. I especially don't like downloading programs, and most of the in browser stuff will want you to buy a thing so you can try the scan. i don't know. i'll figure it out from here.

Spybot is the way to go. It's free and takes care of spyware just as good as a pay program.
