Yeah, the lightscribe disk are goldenish on top(I bought some yesterday cause thats all the store had) and the encryptor burns the image onto the disk based on diameter, so the bigger the picture the more exponential the time it it takes.

Can they do DVDs too?

yea i looked into it, they can do DVD's too. But i think only certain kinds like DVD+R and DVD+RW
