What is required to make a montage besides skill, and a computer? I am just wondering how this is done, so in the future if I wanna make one I can.

would I have to connect my tv to my computer somehow or what, cuz thats what it is sounding like what I have to do. Just wondering to make sure here.

You could be like me and get a DVD recorder, then rip the DVD onto the hard drive, but I'm still trying to find a converter.

I connect my tv, xbox, and capture device using splitters. Splitters are fairly cheap. Picture of how mine is set up:

yeah I was, and thank you for clearing that up lol. so the capture card is pretty much like a camera but mad for a computer to record stuff with?
