Well you could capture the video then transfer the videos to a computer and edit them in some software program to piece together a montage. It all depends on the format that the dvd recorder saves the captured video.

yeah, i wouldnt recommend capturing the video by using the camera, like recording a picture of the TV, but if you have outputs going to the camera, i could see it working, especially if you have vegas, as it is made by sony, which i presume is who made your camera?

According to the Sony specs, you should have analog av and audio inuts and outputs as well as a USB 2.0 interface. This should let you use the camera as a capture device.

the easiest way to make a montage would be get a capture card or record your playing on a vhs tape and buy dazzle digital video creator it comes with a video editor too it should be pretty affordable or i think chief said it you can use your cables from the cam to the tv and see if it captures that.. i dont agree with using the vegas editor its really expensive but it does have a lot of good editing effects.. sorry if this was completely not what you needed to hear..

Ghost, you cannot do it on VHS. If you do it on VHS, you then have to transfer it over to DVD, or somehow get it onto a computer, and it is easier to do it other ways. No matter what, you are going to have to rig something to get it onto something a computer can copy it from, and you can probably just skip the VHS in the process.

Yes it will actually work. You have to plug in the three av wires that go in the back of your tv from your xbox. And instead of plugging them into you xbox plug it in the camera. Then you need another set of the three colored wires and plug it from the cameras output into the tv input. It will work like that.
