Since the forum went through the revampment, I have had to double check every board after seeing the newest thread, and it would still show up as new. Sure, the view all posts as read option is there, but it's a pain to go through with that every time. Is this happening to everyone? I know it wasn't like this before, it was only in the general discussion, when the video section would do it.

It seems there maybe a glitch on how the new posts indicator works. We'll have to wait for Jeremy to chime in to see if it's working properly or not.

when u go into a form click the..... mark as read button -solved- I said I know you can do that. It is a waste of time though, when it should just appear as there are no new posts by itself.

Because it means something is either messed up in the coding or something is just wrong. The change in the skins did it, so their is an error in the skin coding.

I have not had any problems in Firefox or IE with the new posts appearing as read/unread.
I would suggest marking the entire forum as read and just deal with it. There should be a link on the bottom right of the main forum page.

Ok, I should have stated I'm using Opera to view the forums.

Sorry that opera is probably 3rd or 4th on the browser list, coding is not optimized for it.
