Alright i am thinking about getting this and i was wondering if there are any out there that come with the entire package. Meaning that they come with all the wires and stuff to make a montage. Please post some links if there are such devices that come with the entire package. Thanks

Nobody, Here's a post from a different thread about video capture devices. This has been brought up several times before. No matter. Here's a link to a previous thread regarding caputre devices. Keep in mind that there are internal video cards that can do the same video capturing as the external boxes. The ATI All-in-Wonder card is a good choice.
This thread has some other video card choices as well as some discussion about computer upgrades.I don't know of any pacgakge that comes with all the cables needed to capture video. Most only come witht he USb( if external) and some don't even come with that. The internall models may have some sort of adapter cable but I think you'd still need to get the rca cables. Hope this helps.

If it's a newer computer you shouldn't have any problems. The biggest thing is to make sure you have USB 2.0 or a firewire connection to allow for the highest capture rate possible.

Will this work? If so, then what else would i need with it. =edit= Is this a better one, if so how will this one work?

I have only had personal experience with my own capture card, but one thing I would make sure is that your computer has the hardware capability to handle it. Take a look on the box when you buy it and check out the required specs like RAM or processory speed. I am sure you will be fine though.
We have heard about people having problems so when you install it, follow the instructions well to avoid any complications. When you capture for the first time I would put it on a low setting so you can work out any kinks, then find the capture setting that is optimal for you. If its for halo vids (which I would assume), the setting don't need to be uber high.
Another thing is that you will need to get splitters to get it to capture and show up on your TV at the same time.

Arent the splitters the same thing as RCA cables or is that something different

The second one you posted is only a tv tuner box. It'll let you watch TV on your LCD monitor. It will not work. The first one will but I'm not sure how well because I do not have that particular model. As Jeremy said we can only speak to the devices we have. The Pinnacle systems movie box USB 2.0 has worked great for me and Brandon. The pinnacle software isn't hard to use but the nickle and dime you to death to get the extra features unlocked.
Keep looking and I'm sure you'll find something to meet your needs.
