ok i hooked it up the way freak said i got 3 female to female rca y adapters and hooked those into my xbox rca's and then got 2 sets of rca and hooked those into the y adapters and ran one set to my tv and the other set to the peice o shite. I hooked the dazzle up to my 2.o usb. I installed studia 9 and tried to capture. When it captures its like it starts to capture but then it stops playing ( in the preview screen ) sometimes it doens't even attempt to capture and the screen just stays black.
When i try to playback the capture it doens't play anything different than whats on the preview screen. My computer biuddy came over last night and said i didn't need all the cords that my tv has a input and an output whatevber that means. So he hooked up everything using one rca cable and the xbox rca's, i dont know if this is right?
i meet all the requirments, i have directex 9 , 1 gig of ram, 1.8 64 bit amd athlon processer, hard drive space free, a radeon video card with 128 mb of ram.
P.s Spartan suggested using WMM to capture, i tried that and got the same results.

i have my xboxs vidoe and audio inputs going into my tv
and an AV cable that is double sided going from my tvs outputs to the dazzle 80's inputs
you also have to change the capture source to the 90,
like mine says dvc80

yea dazzle 90 is selected as capturing device its set to composite not s videa, everything looks right as far as software settings, i think. My computer friend said something about he thinks its the box (which i think is stupid) but something like the box start to capture and then it freezes up becuase at first the box doens't get the copyright code and then when it does get it it freezes the video or some shit like that. He said that if we had a vcr we could capture fine. and he turned it to a blank channel and on the capture card preview it showed snow like a blank channel and it wasn't slow and frozen like the normal video.
He says that ^^ is becuase there are no copyright s on snow, wtf!

From what I can find, it sounds like a possible bad driver install for the caputer device. Follow the step for Windows 2000 in the link below to see if you can fix it. I would uninstall the device and then restart, then reinstall it to see if that fixes it. Just so you know, the capture devices do not care about a "copyright code" and I'm pretty certain that's only for DVD's. Had I known your TV had inputs and outputs I would have told you to hook it up that way. I assumed it did not. Try what I posted to see if that helps. It seeems like it takes a lot of work and good computer skills(which I lack) everyone else makes really rape montages in TDC so Im already associated with out having to do crap.

I wanna get raped for it! Only montage I've been in was Phoenix's, and he didn't even own me. It just said I got a kill on it... (well, Bobby, if you still came here, you would see this, but, we could make a montage out of the no scope 1v1's we have)
