I also bought and installed World of Warcraft the other day too, it is doing fine but it has it's lagging times. Can anyone help with my situation?

Go to your Control Panel, and check your free space in your C Drive. If that is low, you might want to run a disk defragmenter, found in Start/programs/accessories/system tools.

Yeah, that is another good suggestion. I used to run Linux, until I learned the guy who fixes my computer when I do stuff to it didn't know how to do anything on Linux...

Linux is an open source(free) operating system...like windows but better. It more secure and the are little to no viruses. the downfall of linux is that it's not really comaptible with windows applications unless you really work at it and there are not many games. The order of precidence for public use is 95% Windows, 4% Mac and about 1% Linux (give or take a percentage here or there). Stick withwindows if you want to game.
Anyway, Do like roggie said and run a disk defrag. Also emty out your history, cookies and temp internet files. You can do that in internet explorer. Goto tools, internet options, then about mid way down the general tab is the clear history, cookies and temp internet files. Delete all offline content when propmted. Also, check for spyware, I use spybot search and destroy. It's a free program that works really well. Search for it in google and it'll give you the home page.
Good luck

Good luck actually rick, with some of the latest distro's of linux,..like ubuntu, there are ways to make some games written for windows to work on your computer,..all u have to do is invest an hour or three to do it
