No, the circular scratches are from you cleaning it on your shirt on a circular motion when the xbox says your disk is dirty. The problem may not be your disk but maybe the dvd drive in your xbox. You can get replacement drives online or just take it to an authorized repair place have have it replaced.
If your other games play fine then it might be the disk but I think it's probably the drive.

OK...the circular scratches are from cleaning the disk in a circular motion, either on your shirt or with a towel. I was thinking faster than I can type.

There's disk repair kits out there that you might want to try first before you buy another disk. One is called disk doctor. There's a bunch of others that are disk polishing compounds that are suposed to fill in the deep groves.

Some people I know have used them and said they do work. Eventually you would need to by more of the polishing compound/liquid.

They work, hte only thing is they leave lines on it, and they get annoying and can make you not see scratches, first try the vasoline trick though, it usually works after 4 tries.

I used vaseline, and then wiped it off with rubbing alcohal, it cleans the disc very well.

When i clean my disk i just use a soft tissue. Eventually, i will have to use something else because it is getting worst and worst.
