The other day i was in a custom...when all of a sudden, a message came up on the screen that said "controller is disconnected from port 1...blablabla" I checked out all my connections for the controller..and everything was fine, but the message kept coming up on the screen. Finally i just had to resort to going out and buying a new controller. Has anyone else had this problem with the controller S?

Not really but before you went out and bought one did you try cleaning the connections onthe box and the controller to include the in-line quick disconnect? It may have been that the connections are finally dirty enough to cause a connection problem. It may also be that you have successfully worn out a controller. Or there's a broken wire somewhere in the cable that's causing your problem.

yea if u broke a wire its because ur probly rapping the cord around ur controller to tightly...this happened with my SNES controllers......
and the only probly i have had with my S-Controllers is the thumsticks become sticky from use.......i have had 2 controllers in 1 year and i am on my third.....the thumb stiks become sticky and harder to move....and i like it like that but they dont move equally in every direction so it F***ks u up......i bought a clear s controller a few days ago
now i think my head set is going...i accidently pulled the chair over it and sometimes it stops working and i have to jiggle the cord
