yes it is, you have to have a video capture card. If you have one, it should come with some software. If you set everything up properly, you will be able to see it. How big the screen is depends on the sofware settings. For this to work effectively you have to have a really good computer and capture card.

If you search the web for RCA to VGA adapters, you'll find what you need to convert the RCA cobales from the xbox to the sub D 15 pin VGA connection for your monitor. Keep in mind that while the picture will be way better than on your regular tv, you really won't be able to play multiplayer on the same screen unless you have a huge monitor. Here's the information I gave Rory regarding a set-up.

well frkuout is talking about something different than a capture card. But if you want to make a montage, you will need a capture card. You can get a decent one for under $100.

If you just want to display the xbox onthe computer monitor...just get what I posted. As Zan said, you'll need a usb or internal video capture card/box to to a montage.

You could even get a RF adapter and plug your composite cables through that and from the adapter use an S-Cable to connect it to your computer. The problem with this is that you will most likely need extra software to record the feed. I just purchased a capture card for my buddy, www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814160017, which gets the job done since it comes with editing software. If you end up purchasing one, you don't need to limit yourself to videogames, you can actually schedule recordings from your cable or satellite and watch them later like Tivo.

yes all you need is the RCA to VGA adapter...you only require video capture card if you'd like to make a halo 2 montage or author dvds or movies and stuff....but just to play on a computer monitor you ONLY need the adapter. I listed two in the post that I linked to earlier in this post. There are several out there that can range anywhere from $40 to more than $100. Here's one Here's a post I found for sites that sell the boxes. Be careful which one you select. I personally do not use an adapter but I have a friend that did and he said the graphics were awesome.

If you go to Sam Goody they have one for a little over $20. Personally I would go with the card just because it's internal and it allows you to record stuff.

I don't really think he wants to record anything...just wants to play on the computer monitor
