As most of you, the main page content is limited. Its no joke that any veteran of our site has no real purpose to browse it. However, it is vitally important to have a traditional web page with updated content for the visitors to the site. When new people go to tdcgaming.net (or tdchalo.com), there needs to be a professional looking and updated site to get their attention. The games list should be updated, links working, and the news items need to be relevant. Over the years I have had to try to find a balance of how much work I can put up to it. In the last 2 years basically I have figured out that I pretty much have no time to spend on it, meaning it needs to be full of info that doesn't require regular attention.
The only thing on the main site that is dynamic is the news, the rest I update every couple of months when I remember to. Obviously right now I have a lot to fix because of the recent server switch. Once I get the news up and going again, I am going to make an effort to include more content in it. Most all of it will point back to something here on the forums. So that is the main purpose of this post, to let you all know that I will be posting a lot of stuff in the news on the main site that points back to threads in the forums.
