TDC Newsletter - April 2008

This edition of the newsletter is short and sweet. We'll get you up to date with the latest happenings in the clan and anything else going on. So here we go...
TDC's Halo 3 Montage
TDC's Halo 3 Montage was released a few days ago and is available for download. This was a collaborative effort my many of TDC's Halo 3 players and has been in the works for several months. The end product is a 15 minute long video featuring Halo 3 clips set to music for your viewing pleasure. The intent of this was to create a video that all clan members could be a part of. I have done several montages in the past, now everyone has their moment to shine in the video. Everyone who submitted clips in time will be seen in the montage. Follow this link to download the montage and to comment as you wish.
After we have given everyone a chance to view the montage, we will be holding polls to find out what our favorite montage moments were. The voting will be for various categories such as best snipe, luckiest clip, most skilled sequence, etc. Nominations will begin this week and voting will follow shortly.
AoR Scrimmage - The Rematch
You may have read about our Halo 3 scrimmage vs. AoR in the last newsletter. We beat them 3-1-1 and it is now time for a rematch. This time around it will be a 4v4 series, and I have a feeling that the games will be much closer. AoR recently put the smack down on Bungie in a Humpday Challenge and I know for a fact they have recruited several new hardcore MLG players. It should be a lot of fun. The scrimmage takes tonight (3/31/08) at 6:30pm pacific time. Of course a recap will be posted as usual. More info here.
Xbox Live Arcade Tournament
Time for a break from the seriousness of our Halo 3 play and have some fun in the Xbox Live arcade. TDC will be having a tournament featuring various Xbox Live arcade games. The official announcement will be made in the coming weeks, but the tournament will feature arcade games that we decide on, and I will format a tournament that will be based on 1v1 match ups. It should be fun, we will vote on what games we want to play. Obviously you have to have purchased arcade games to participate, perhaps this is the excuse you need to spend some Microsoft points.
