If you are going to get hung up on comparing it to a PC, then don't get it. There is no doubt that PC's are a much better platform for RTS's. However, after havinig played it on both, I think that it works really well on a console. What this game will do is introduce RTS to those kids who are console exclusive gamers. If you have a PC that has the hardware specs to handle new games, stick with PC.
I really like it, especially since I am a big LOTR fan.

the demo made me want to get it, the way they set up your armies on the xbox version was quite nice, and it was easy to get a grasp of

The controls are simple to understand, and you will get good at them after a few games. Its a good game on PC or console.

the first time i tried to scroll around the map i had to turn down the sensitivity and it almost cost me a few skirmishes because your cursor moves so bloody fast and that took some getting used tio..and i dont like how u have to stare at the mini map to figure out what direction your facing
im bad at this game though

I really don't like the minimap in here either. Square > Circle, IMO.

Rory, you can change the scroll speed. And don't forget to press the right thumbstick button to return to the default view.

I happen to like the faster scrolling, though. It lets you get somewhere a lot faster without using the Minimap.
