i think Crackdown is awesome! Pick up two missle launchers and cluster grenades.... It's scary... Oh, and picking up cars and throwing them at people is funny as hell. Oh and the vehicles are also awesome (bat moblile, truck, and Super SUV)! AND jumping really high is awesome, too.

GTA IV is EXACTLY THE SAME as every other GTA. New Character, new physics engine, new story.
Nothing else. I was bored within an hour

yea im bored of it too. the story is really random. cops are fun but sometimes its so unfair. i did get my 6 star for 5min achievement also.

you guys are right...crackdown is a hundrend times better than gta...NOT.....it didnt get all those perfect scores for nothin...but what am i thinking, you guys are the professionals(sarcasm)

of course gta4 was like the others, it isn't in it's 4th game for no reason. (and actually, theres more than 4.)
if you werent a big fan of the previous titles.. i dont know wtf you were expecting.
we all have our tastes though. imo, gta is a good game, but it won't keep me constantly interested for more than 2-3 weeks. once i've beat it or most of it i probably won't play it much, and it will turn into one of those games i play every once in a while when i'm bored. doesn't make it a bad game by any means though.

It does make it an overrated game, though. Games that get 9.9's and 10's should be ones you play for years.

Like Calico said, it comes down to opinion and therefore its an endless battle. Another example is guitar hero. I know people love those games, but they are just not for me. And I guess GTA is not really my thing either, although I have enjoyed playing previous version, just not forever.
