I want to find out what the brokeback achievement entails. I'm guessing it's riding on the back of the mongoose.

you could get 100 humps on the same guy in a custom game..That would be too easy.

If they(Bungie) are smart, they would do what Epic did and make most of the MP achievements exclusively to ranked matches.
This somewhat slows down the boosting of achievements.
Also, the Seriously achievement takes forever to get. 10,000 kills in ranked matches. Bungie should do something like that, but with more kills because it's easy to kill people in Halo.

What's the point of achievements anyways? They are pretty stupid IMO. All that ever ends up happening is people boosting for them, or saying "OOO let me have the sniper rifle or ill kill you i need my achievement. It would be better if games would only give achievements in campaigns, like beating them in a certain time, or using only a certain weapon things like that.

If they(Bungie) are smart, they would do what Epic did and make most of the MP achievements exclusively to ranked matches. That would just give people incentive to cheat. And I agree with Doug. Ranks and achievements just make people want to play boost those things, and the sad part is that far too many people will cheat to do that. Problem is that earning a rank or achievement is exciting and helps attract gamers and give the game longevity. The question becomes at what point to the people cheating to raise their rank and get achievements out number the people who want to work hard and earn it, or visa versa. In the end will it be better to not enable cheaters by taking away their shiny metals or to try to get as many people as possible to play the game, regardless if they are cheaters or not?
