But it takes more teamwork and skill to play.
Having only one life a round, aside from when you play Annex, means you have to be tactical and choose your moves carefully. Very rarely can one person run into the whole other team, take out more than one or two if they are lucky, and live.
There's no auto aim, so sniping is hard. Active reloads can be the difference between either downing a guy rushing you with shotgun, and killing him, or getting shotgunned and having to watch your teammates for the rest of the round.

how many gametypes do you play commonly on halo 2, seriously? theres 4 gears gametypes that are WIDELY played, thats probably more variety then you will see in 90% of custom games.

Not to mention the maps.
There are more than 2-3 good maps on Gears.

i regularly play 4 gametypes, Oddball, Capture the Flag, Slayer, and Neutral Bomb. On 8 maps ,Sanctuary, lockout, midship, warlock, ivory tower, derelict, beaver creak, and colossus.
I don't want to turn this thread into a Halo vs GoW so lets stop comparing

alright then it sounds about the same variety-wise. maybe its just boring because its not your type of game, cool.
i agree with the comparing. back to the gears love.. i love gears.

I never said it's boring, but i do find it boring hahah, I think you're right it's not my type of game. I hate third person shooters. Heck i hate most third person things because of shitty camera angles. But watching it at MLG definitely made things worse because it was a huge camp fest after the initial first 30 second fight ended.

It becomes strategy then.
Who has what weapon is a huge factor.

Can you go through walls in Unreal? kinda ...there are 2 ways unreal championships 1---translocator unreal championships 2--raiden had a teleport ability..it teleported u behind the enemy ur targetting but shadowrun makes it far more to the point and a more innovative way of doing it yea the camera angles suck for 3rd person shoters...getting stuck behind walls or losing vision because of trees...lame and camping is boring...shadow run is boomboomboom i threw my controler for the first time during this game

I don't think translocator counts.
and that's one character, and didn't you have to unlock Raiden?

theres a gametype now thats kinda like king of the hill, has respawns.. max you have to wait is 15 seconds, quickest is one second.. depends on when you die.

I don't think translocator counts. and that's one character, and didn't you have to unlock Raiden? whatever...unreal was the first to use magic type stuff just because a game has something similar doesn't mean it has to be the exact same...unreal and shadowrun have different good and bad things about them and if everygame based a feature off of another .and did it the same way..al games would be lame who knows...mabey when they were developing shadowrun..they didn't even look at unreal and shit but the biggest difference is..in unreal..the magic is an add on..u can win or lose without it in shadowrun..if u dont use magic or tech..u will lose...the magic and tech is essensial..if u dont use itl..u might as well not play
