No skill involved? Rory, I'd LOVE to see you make it through the Underworld. I'd LOVE to see you go to the PvP tournaments with a team and do something. I'd LOVE to see you TRY and just WATCH you get your ass KICKED.
Jeremy, you're starting to become as bad as the other guys. Bashing things before you've even tried it. It's pathetic. You guys can only play one or two games good, and you think you're better than everyone else. The gaming world has more than 4 or 5 games in it, but y'all are too stuck up to ever try them.

I'm sorry i have to say something for my long leave of absence, but some MMORPGs require skill, LIKE EQ2, WOW, or even EVE ONLINE, most MMORPGs require u to spent countless hours perfecting something or even time to learn a certain skill. To say that a MMORPG takes no skill as compared to H2 or GoW, is completely FUBAR, to become good at those games requires the same amount if not more time that the ones listed above. Its the same as not playing a game, same me no ever playing GoW, taking about a month to figure out the controls 100% and taking a new person on say WOW or EVE ONLINE and taking the time to learn certain skills or get enough gold to properly equip yourself.

no hes not...im just going to make a sterotypical generalization
more quote "uber nerdz" play those games than NORMAL people..sure a fair amount of normal ppl play those games but the ones who play them for hours on ends are the ones who kill a bazillion whatevers just to get that extra EXP point

MMORPG you not gain skill you gain KNOWLEDGE not skill, in just about any other game you actually gain skill.

I have to agree with Doug.
MMO's require that you gain knowledge to succeed, as well as invest large, unnecessary amounts of time into the game.
Maybe in PvP there is an element of skill, but still it is dominated mostly by time played and knowledge of the game.
As for making it through the Underworld, Rory could if he were to spend time playing the game, leveling up, learning more about the game, and in time, venturing to there.
Regarding the PvP thing... If he played long enough, he'd find a team or whatever to go play in a tournament.

MMORPG you not gain skill you gain KNOWLEDGE not skill, in just about any other game you actually gain skill. Not necessarily true. Although you learn how to play the game better, you also learn how to use the things in the game, as you do in games like Halo. You learn to use them and become better at timing it and using it. Look at it like this: Crouch Jumping. You needed to learn to time it perfectly, right? You learned how to 4 shot with a BR and how to time it perfectly to get the bursts off as quick as you can. Now, it's the same in a MMO, just with different things, such as spell timing and casting.

Aww, Why are TDC's finest bashing Roggie cause he wants to showcase his guild on achieving something big to them?
It requires skill. And knowlage. But it is not purely one or the other. Compareing it to the special olympics..? If you guys had done something in Halo that big and were showcased on bungie you guys would be happy too.
Good Job Roggie.

Roggie is still an idiot.
And to reply to what Joe said, here is my reply
Most of you need to STFU until you actually have gotten laid.
Being pro at street fighter/halo/mmorgpg's means absolutly nothing, unless you are the absolute best (i.e. final boss or fatality), which no one here will ever come close to.
Oh yeah, Roggie's mustache will help keep him in the v-club for a really long time.
