Man i wish I realized wtf this was all about sooner heh... some of my favorite all time games got voted out... bleh.. its too biased anyways... that and most you guys are way to young to have really been on the scene when these games popped out to even know why they were so great. oh well, its how things goes.
chrono trigger ftw! (and boo to the fact that chrono trigger got put up against doom in extra life bracket.. doom revolutionized FPS genres as we know it =/... no way it could win.. that and it lost to FFX.. i swear no taste in games guys!)

Its TDC's Head to Head Gaming Challenge. Read the announcement thread with the same name, it explains everything.
And I agree with the most are too young, it seems so many people here grew up with N64 games, and I feel PC gaming is way under represented. But the vote will reflect the democgraphic of this forum. I asked to not just consider if you liked it, but its place in gaming history. See the CS v Diddy Kong thread for some good arguing and a big upset.

ewww diddy kong upset CS... what a load.. nothing about diddy kong was revolutionary... maybe if it was that donkey kong country game... but soooooooooooo not diddy kong.
but ya... there wasnt anything really about ffx that was revolutionary.. just that they talked... (throws the confetti in a non-excited fashion)
You guys should really go look at my post in the CS vs DKR thread... fucking nublets voting DKR...shame on you.

Solid, FFX, IMO, is the best game in the FF series. The battle system is awesome, the graphics are unbelieveable, and the storyline may be the best one I've ever played through. The characters are perfect, and Blitzball is the most fun I've ever had.

The characters are perfect, and Blitzball is the most fun I've ever had. true true Roggie...im almost 19, i grew up playin a Super Nintendo mostly...i never got really big into games till Playstation came out...so your right i woudnt really know about Chrono trigger and some of those older games..plus i dont play counter strike or most pc games...but i know what i liked and those are the games i voted for... bleh, I just didn't see what was so good about FFX.. i prolly hate it because it spawned the first ever sequel and turned out to be a horrible mess of a game... and yes i am saying ffx-2 was apathetic excuse for an rpg. but anyways... chrono trigger IMO, was superbly done and far beyond its own time. but hey, w/e im more pissed over the dkr vs cs thing...

FFX was the worse FF of the series. i know i cant prove this at all and it cannot be proven wrong it's all opinion. But if i wanted to watch about 28789 hours worth of soapopera drama i would have just turned on the tv.

The worst FF game was FFTA. No questions asked. But, I don't see why nobody likes FFX. The worst was FFX-2. Nine was in no way, shape, or form better than ten. There's no contest.

5. FF 12(which im playin right now)
but yeah FF X-2 sucked, the costomes were gay.

(top three are all pretty damn close to eachother)

5)FF Crystal (or something like that.. it was the easiest ff ever made, but it was still pretty good heh.. and its not the new one.. talking about the snes one.)
But ya, if you meant Tactics (for the ps1.. not the handheld version..) then you are messed in the head man heh. Cause I could mail ya my memory card for playstation with my tactics game logged in at 312h34m's and Im still playing that same exact file to this day >.>
