actually, number one and two I agree with, though I feel Zelda:OOT and Chrono Trigger are interchangable for the top 2. I LOVE Chrono Trigger. SOOOO many great games/memories. THough, Take Tekken off of the list and replace it with a GOOD fighting game... SF 2/3/alpha1/2/3 or Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Uhmm, I'm through the top 10 and 3 should be much, much higher. Golden Sun is the best RPG on GBA, Kingdom Hearts is an amazing RPG, and WC3 is the best PC RTS game.
Ok. KoToR 2 should be much higher. OMFG. THIS LIST OFFICIALLY SUCKS MONKEY BALLS. Tales of Symphonia is the greatest RPG I have ever played, and I played RPG games for a living before I joined TDC.
Golden Sun 2 is not better than GS1.
Finally, something right. Oracle of Ages is better than Seasons.
More mistakes. UT2004 is amazing. Should be top 25. Starcraft, the game that revolutionized RPGs, should be in the top 50.
FFX is the best FF game ever made. Should be top 20. Oblivion is in the right place. LoZ for NES should be top 10.
Now I'm pissed off at this list. Fire Emblem is the best turn-based strategy game out in America. It deserves top 20.
GT4 should be in the upper 50's not 50th. Advance Wars is not a better RTS than Fire Emblem. No contest. IMO, Majora's Mask sucked.
Wow... SSBM deserves top 15. Halo 2 is in the right area. Kotor is a top 15 game.
FFVII = OVERRATED. Not better than FFX. Super Mario 64 deserves top 10. No way in hell is Half-Life 2 better than Halo 1. Halo 1 should be top 5, Half-Life 2 (even though I don't like it) should be top 10. Top 10:
Metal Gear Solid 3: Not a top ten game. Maybe top 25.
Metal Gear Solid: I don't like the series, but it deserves it.
FFIII: Nice pick.
Goldeneye 64: I was getting worried it somehow didn't make it. Should be top 3. Still play to this day.
Soul Calibur: Deserves it. Best fighting game ever made.
Link to the Past: Nice choice.
Super Metroid: Nice.
Resident Evil 4: HORRIBLE CHOICE. WORST PLACED GAME ON WHOLE LIST. Camera sucked ass, gameplay was not that good. Whoever puts this game 3 should be shot.
Chrono Trigger: Top 5 game, not top 2.
Orcarina of Time: NO WAY. I'm sorry, but there's no way in hell OoT can beat Goldeneye 64. No way in hell. I'm not saying it shouldn't be top 10, but it doesn't even deserve top 5. Maybe 7 or 8. I'm sorry, but gah, the game is extremely overrated.
Where the heck is UNO? lol.
So, in final, the list blows. Horrible. That's all I have to say.

this isn't really a fair test ...there is no comparison between old scool and new skool games...its just not fair...u cant compae side scrollers to fps's..u cant compare ps1 games to xbox games...gay

ok you say halo 2 is in the right place, yet it is still in the top 5 on the xbox games sales charts for LAST MONTH
also it is still being played almost 2 years after its release

but that doesn't mean its the best game of all time or anything. What was it, about 25, 30? I think considering its impact on the gaming world it should be higher, but we all know its not a perfect game.

No, I felt that the list should go by how the game revolutionized gaming before how good the game is. You're forgetting that Halo 1 revolutionized FPS games almost as much as Goldeneye 64 did. Halo 2 did not revolutionize FPS games in a major way. The only thing it changed is the no health bar in shooters now, which I dislike.

LOL, I think we must look at how the list was formed. It was pure voting by ign members. That means that it will be complete crap, which I believe most of us agree that it is.
There have been other lists then have been compiled by "experts" that have been much better. Perhaps my favorite list of all time was the Title Fight that GameSpy did. They evaluated 64 games head to head tournament fashion, just like the NCAA tournament. It was a fun way to come up with a top game. And ni my opinion, the best game won. It would be fun for us to do something like that if it weren't a straight rip off.

perhaps we should to find out what TDC members all time favorite game is. It would have to start with every body nominating their favorite games, then we break them into categories and the voting begins. 64 might be too much, we'll see.
