Dude....those graphics looked insanely awesome. The part where the Elite picks up the Marine made me think it was real life.
I hope that's how the movie looks.
As for the game....no one answered my question as to what it's like playing a RTS on a 360.

IMO...Halo 1 > Halo CE > Halo 2 > Halo Zero
Dude...we should work together and come up with a Halo Chess Set....
Grunts / Marines as Pawns. MC and Cortana King / Queen and Tartarus and 343 GS King / Queen. Rooks = Warthogs / Ghosts. Knights = Sargeant Johnson / Brutes. Bishops = Prophet / (insert something for humans)

halo 1 = halo ce? halo zero? Halo 1 = XBOX. Halo 2 = XBOX Halo CE = Halo Custom Edition for PC. Halo Zer = PC Side-scroller...I added it in there so Halo 2 could be better than something. |

also you cant say halo 2 isnt better than CE when you have played Halo 2 for almost 2 years

Halo CE (it is the xbox version) > halo 2 > Halo wars > Halo PC

Halo CE = Halo 1
CE= Combat Evolved = the subtitile of halo 1. Halo Pc is a whole different story.

Halo PC is Halo PC. The Add-on for Halo PC is Halo CE(Custom Edition).
So to me...
Halo 1 = Halo 1
Halo 2 = Halo 2
Halo CE = Halo Custom Edition
Halo Zero = Halo Zero
Halo PC = Halo PC

^ oh, i thought ce ment combat evolved cuz that is what many reviews refered to halo 1 as. Anyway it does not matter. This preview is stunning.

yes but Halo Combat Evolved existed before Halo Custom edition so the term Halo CE is usually taken as referring to Halo 1.
I just downloaded and watched the trailer, it looks really awesome. But remember that was all scripted for the trailer, and RTS won't be like that.
And as far as playing an RTS on 360...you all have probably noticed my increased time in BFME2, meaning I am having fun. Once you get used to the controls there its no problem.

Yeah, but as a rule of thumb, most RTS are better on PC for a few reasons.
1. Your pc is upgradeable, therefore there is always potential for the graphics to improve and the game to run faster (though consoles are dedicated and crash MUCH MUCH less)
2. A large Majority of RTS players play on PC.
3. Patches, updates, and custom mods are usually released for pc first. ESPECIALLY mods and conversion kits.

Without a doubt RTS's are better on a PC because of the nature of the game, hot linking, easy selection of units, and all the other shortcuts involved. But realize that there are way more console gamers out there today and now that EA has developed a working controller configuration and we have consoles with the power to support them, RTS's do have a future on consoles.

I will convert one day. I'll be honest, I was wrong about BFME2. I actually played a real game, and the controls are very well done. The joystick can never beat the mouse for RTS's, but, everything else works.
@ Doug: They aren't spartans. If I remember right, that is very close to the look of the marine in the new Halo Novel on the cover.
