Never mind. It's basically official. Made by the people who made AoE, my 2nd favorite RTS. Should be awesome. The graphics were unbelieveable in that video; I hope they are close to that in the game.

This was before Halo 1, which would be the book entitled The Fall of Reach, where there were Spartans.

If I remember right, the Spartans were not around at the start of the war.
