I have my doubts about PD0 but the early reviews are extremely positive. personally, im looking forward to Gears of War and Huxley.
However, Killzone 2 looks insane.

i remeber perfect dark from N64 n i liked that game...n i saw a preview for it n the graphics r really good! so i go with perfect dark idk about the other games probly will hav to rent them cause i havn't played any of the previous one's of those.....i only play halo 2....

I don't think there really will be a replacement, you cannot replace a game. There could be a game that does something like Halo did for the system, but, there is not a replacement, just a game to go along with it as a substitution at times.

NO KILLZONE EVER!!! KILLZONE WAS PURE CRAP!!! It was suupposed to be some "Halo- Kiler" it actually RUINED the FPS genre. U COULDNT EVEN JUMP!!! It was soooo linear and scripted, it practically controlled what guns u used (actually, it DID) so, no Killzone 2 for me. Way to go sony. Im Jaded towards other FPS's now, ull never sell me ANY FPS's ever agian. (I also Hate MGS, Splinter Cell is WAYYY better. Tho, the story of MGS3 was interesting, the gameplay was crap.) Perfect Dark Zero looks like it could be fun. I <3 Laptop Guns...
But Gears of War looks like it'll be more interesting.

this game is fun....but there are so many flaws in it...i wont go into it
but there are better first person shooters...the reason people dont play it is because there is a big glitch..or the multiplayer has shitty user support......

i voted perfect dark zero. because perfect dark for the 64 raped. but i saw the demo for call of duty 2: big red one on the 360, and it was sexy. the graphics made me feel like i was going to die in real life from a mortr or something.

Gears of war looks awesome in the previews I saw on G4 TV. Can't wait to get it after I scrape up the 360 money.

i have 210 dollars saved up to date.. i am almost there.... might have to use thta bank account to make the difference... also i am thinkin PD0 could be a good matchup against halo. i can remember almost any gun from the n64 pd and i think my favorite would have to be the reaper. i loved using that on the "mutated bunnies"
oh and that laptop gun rocked to

none of those will replace Halo. Now that I have played perfect dark zero, it blows balls compared to halo.

no doubt rory, but the xbox 360 and PS3 don't have anything much more significant to offer than the xbox and PS2. The graphics are not that much better and as far as all the other features...they are all frivilous gimicks that are not really necessary. Until a vastly superior console comes around or a radically different idea for a console FPS, Halo will reign supreme. Frankly if Nintendo's attempt to do something different with their revolution works at all, they will have the best chance.

I didn't see Call of Duty 2 up there! I played it and it was a load of fun! Oh and my favorite gun from perfect dark for the n64 was the LAPTOP GUN!

FUTHERMORE..in my opinion the best FPS shooter ever made is... Quake 1 Custom Team Fortress...it raped..nobody plays it anymore,...it was way better than gay half life team fortress.. i could probly write a 10 page post about custom team fortress...and what u could do... |
