Donkeys!!!
To start no more challenges will be happening with out my presence. In fact I am inclined to get rid of challenges all together because if something goes wrong, people don't know how to be mature and re-do it all. Don't talk shit unless you beat us in a fair game.
I don't give a shit what if you were in green, red, or perrywinckle, it one team goes so far as to complain about horrible lag during the game, its enough for me to drop the game. I have been running these things for a long time, I understand how it goes.
Call me a crazy dictator if you want, but it is 95% likely that I know how to run things better than you (anyone else). This clan has been in existance for 2 years. That doesn't happen without me understand how to deal with tricky situations.
Notice how things went when I was party leader. I will boot people who are causing bullshit (legend and his buddy who he refused to play without). We played several games with out people talking shit. In the end all we want to do is play some halo. Why all the BS?
Orlock, you better watch what you post. You are a "no-name" because this is TDC's forums. You are a no name here. So drop the attitude and just stick to playing halo.
--------------------------------------------
I am over commenting on all the crap earlier in this thread. I am hear to announce how things will happen from now on.
Setting up a formal challenge at a pre-determined time with pre-determined players causes too many problems. Inveriably someone will be a no show and then the rest of the team is less inclined to play because they do not have their best players online. We all have big egos and we all want bragging rights. Take everyone's ego's out of the equation and we will all have more fun.
So, we will not be scheduling this for a specific time. The best way for this to happen is on the fly. We all play often, so whenever we both of our teams have enough people on for 4v4, we can play then.
Host is a huge problem. Lag is a big problem. Take Brandon and I for example. It would be to our advantage to host games, but we always make sure someone else has host because we know our is garbage. If I ever get host in the game, I always end it, leave, then come back in order to get a better host. Its just plain stupid to play on a host where a bunch of people are lagging. Just end the game, have the current host leave, invite him back and restart. Xbox live will automatically choose who is the best for hosting.
To conclude:
- don't talk shit at someone else's website - Trust me, I know what I am talking about - Brandon is really good, his ego is justified - As far as I am concerned, no challenge games happened today - We will play games (TDC vs AAR) whenever it works out for both teams. No prescheduled stuff, this only leads to hype, shit talking, and an overall unplesent experience. - Host is a huge advantage, lag sucks. Make an effort to have fair games
and most importantly...
- if the shit talking / immature crap continues I will drop this whole "challenge business".
Just stick to playing some fun and competitive halo. Shut the fuck up, everyone.
-CLOSED-
I will start a new thread when I feel there is anything else worth talking about with AAR.
