these kind of problems were one of the first things we did in grade 11 math...then i dropped out ..haha

Hold the phone!
Sorry Meesam, but you made a mistake. Its one of those math problems that is so easy to make a simple mistake, and it just snowballs to the end. Your mistake was on the first step of your second page. Instead of multiplying by the inverse, you divided by the inverse. Also, true simplified form does not have any radicals in the denominator.
Let me scan in my solution, hopefully I didn't mess up.

zan i guess you were right, up until you tried to remove the square root in the denominator, i guess in this problem it didnt matter because the instructions were just to simplify...?
