Marching band is a waste of time and plus it sucks... marching in parades while its raining... marching on the football field when its "my nipples could cut glass" cold.
sure it may or may not look decent on a college transcript... but thats the only reason to ever go into marching band... you wanna play music form a band. xD
special note: not attacking bandies here.. just saying school activities suck in general... never let ya do anything cool. (by real world standards.)

the marching band in this article is about competative marching band...and if its a waste of type..how come over 10 000 people..per year go thorough some kind of dci drum corps..and how come 100 000s of people each year go to dci shows per year

Hey...i like Marching Band.... I've ben yo NYC twice, Hawaii once and Boston Twice.
My school never marches in the Rain, if its raiing we just don't show up.
If you like marching Bnad, and you like the people in it, then is not bad, its fun. You lok foward to it. Marching Band is fun for me.

exactly timma..
and in leages like dci..marching in rain is ok..but not recomended ..because it ruins shit...but its not allowed to rehease when theres even a hint of lightning because ppl have died...holding huge metal instruments up high lol
